Paul Smith to play 12,000 capacity Liverpool gig

Paul Smith is to play what’s being billed as the biggest UK open-air comedy gig this year.

His appearance in front of up to 12,000 fans as part of Liverpool’s On The Waterfront festival is also the comic’s biggest show yet in his home town.

The event takes place on the city’s Pier Head on Thursday June 20 – with musicians Ben Hemsley and Deacon Blue playing the same stage on the Saturday and Sunday. 

 Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday
