New podcast from Emily Lloyd-Saini and Anna Leong Brophy

Comedy double act Egg – aka Emily Lloyd-Saini and Anna Leong Brophy  – are launching a new podcast based on celebrity.

Terribly Famous will run for at least four seasons, focussing on the lives and careers of Adele, Victoria Beckham, Zayn Malik and Lily Allen.

Rich Knight, from producers Wondery said: ‘Terribly Famous tells vivid, compelling and empathetic stories about extraordinary people. It’s also a take on Britain’s celebrity culture – one in which we sometimes extract a high price for fame. 

‘We’re delighted to work with our talented hosts Emily Lloyd-Saini and Anna Leong Brophy, whose joyful and witty company will appeal to listeners everywhere.’

Lloyd-Saini and Brophy previously made the podcast Still Legit, which revisited some of the things they enjoyed in childhood.

The pair return to the Edinburgh Fringe next month with their new show Absolutely Fine, at Pleasance Courtyard at 16:50 from the 14th.
