Comedians join major Welsh festival

Gŵyl 2021 to air on the BBC

Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Jordan Brookes, Lolly Adefope and Tim Key are to take part in a major Welsh festival next month.

Gŵyl 2021 is a free online event created from the organisers  of four events, including the Aberystwyth Comedy Festival, and will be streamed by the BBC.

It will also feature music, film and storytelling from the other collaborators: Festival of Voice, FOCUS Wales and Other Voices Cardigan

Henry Widdicombe from the Aberystwyth Comedy Festival, said: ‘While the past year has been an unprecedented challenge for the events industry, an event like this shows that the arts community has also come together as a result of that challenge. The programme of events being curated is astonishing and we can't wait to be a part of it.’

Gŵyl 2021 – which translates simply as Festival 2021 will take place on March 6 and 7, and available for seven days afterwards.
