When is Rob Delaney's Amazon special out?
Release date announced
Rob Delaney’s stand-up special will be released on Amazon Prime on January 17, it has been announced today.
The co-star and co-creator of Catastrophe taped the show at the Hackney Empire in London earlier this year, where he spoke about his life in the capital, being a father and a husband, the monarchy and the rise of the sexbots.
It is one of a raft of UK comedy specials being aired by Amazon following a deal with comedy agents and producers Avalon.
Shows from Chris Ramsey, Ed Gamble, Flo & Joan and Paul Chowdhry were released this summer, and last week it was announced that Jayde Adams’s show The Ballad Of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face was to be released as Serious Black Jumper on January 3.
January also sees the released of the movie Bombshell, about disgraced Fox News chief Roger Ailes, in which Delaney appears with Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie.
The American comedian has also been cast in the live-action animation hybrid version of Tom and Jerry, set for release in late 2020; and will appear alongside Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline in The Good House., currently in post-production.
