Aberdeen Comedy Festival confirms third year

The Aberdeen Comedy Festival has announced that it will be returning for a third year.

Reginald D. Hunter will open the ten-day  event on October 4 with a gig at  the Tivoli Theatre.

David O’Doherty will close the festival at  the same  venue  on October 13. Tickets for both shows, priced £19, go on sale  at 10am tomorrow.

Adrian Watson, chief executive of promoters Aberdeen Inspired, said the festival ‘has really captured the imagination…  people have turned out in large numbers for shows across the city centre which has had a positive impact on businesses in the area.’

‘Our aim is to continue to develop Scotland’s third largest and fastest growing comedy festival.’
