Tambourine is comic's first show in a decade

Chris Rock’s first Netflix special is to drop tomorrow.

Tamborine is the first stand-up special from the acclaimed comic in more than a decade.

The show was directed by fellow comic Bo Burnham and filmed at New York's Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Netflix said: ‘With his trademark laser-like observations, Rock covers the gamut of contemporary issues, with incisive and insightful commentary on life.’

Rock signed up for two Netflix comedy specials in 2016, in a deal believed to be worth around $40million.

The streaming service released a trailer for the show this afternoon, but it gives nothing away.
