Comedians Miles Jupp, Cariad Lloyd, Lucy Porter and Kiell Smith-Bynoe will be the last to face Richard Osman on House Of Games.

The presenter and author steps down from the quiz show he started in 2017 at the end of next week’s episodes – which feature an all-comic line-up.

He then hands over to Michael Sheen for the remaining 90 episodes in the tenth series. When he was revealed as host earlier this year, Sheen said: ‘Quite literally very large shoes to fill but as a huge fan of the show I’m incredibly excited to be able to move into the House and at long last see my silhouette on a fondue set.’

Osman – who has hosted more than 800 episodes – announced he was standing down back in March.

At the time BBC executive Rob Unsworth said: ‘Richard Osman has established House of Games as one of our best-loved shows. His contribution to its success is impossible to overstate, and we couldn't be more grateful for his work over the last nine years.’

The last series attracted around 1.6 million viewers per episode, including catch-up and on-demand viewing over a seven-day period.
