LIVE FROM THE UK: A special extended edition for Live Comedy Day in which host Angela Barnes introduces Christopher MacArthur-Boyd at the Monkey Barrel in Edinburgh, Emer Maguire at the Empire Music Hall in Belfast, Carwyn Blayney at the Swansea Grand and Seann Walsh at Brighton Komedia. BBC Radio 4, 9pm.
BRIAN & ROGER: Acclaimed comedy podcast Brian and Roger makes its radio debut. Created by and starring Harry Peacock and Dan Skinner, and told entirely through voice notes, the podcast lets listeners eavesdrop on the unsettling dynamic between scheming and manipulative Brian, and Roger, whose good nature is all too easily taken advantage of. Skinner is best known for his character Angelos Epithimou, as seen on Shooting Stars as well as on the stand‑up circuit, while Harry Peacock played Ray Purchase in Toast of London. BBC Radio 4, 11pm.
THE 'BURBS: Jack Whitehall stars alongside Keke Palmer in this dark comedy remake of the 1989 movie starring Tom Hanks. When Samira and Rob Fisher move from the city into the suburban neighbourhood where Rob grew up, they become obsessed by a creepy house across the street – especially when Samira discovers that a girl who lived there 20 years ago went missing. It drops on Sky today.

HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU: American comedian Roy Wood Jr. – who hosts the US version of the show on CNN – is in the chair as the topical comedy quiz returns for its 71st series. Guests are Armando Iannucci, making his 11th appearance on the show, and Anushka Asthana, US editor of Channel 4 News. BBC One, 9pm
ROB BECKETT: GIRAFFE: TV broadcast of Rob Beckett's stand-up show, recorded at the London Palladium at the end of his global tour. Sky1, 9pm.
THE YOUNG OFFENDERS: Back for a fifth series, this comedy follows two Cork lads who can't seem to keep out of trouble. Conor and Jock finally reunite after Jock makes a lucky escape from a Colombian prison and stows away on a ship back to Cork. Stars Chris Walley and Alex Murphy. BBC One, 9:30pm.
THE LAST LEG: Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker are joined by Josh Pugh, Lorraine Kelly and Steve Bracknall. Channel 4, 10pm.
BILL BAILEY: THOUGHTIFIER: Bill Bailey takes viewers on a magical, musical mystery tour of the human mind in his 2025 stand-up show. Channel 4, 11:05pm.

THE JONATHAN ROSS SHOW: Katherine Ryan is back for her tenth appearance on the show – joined by Slow Horses star Kristin Scott Thomas and musical guest Sienna Spiro. ITV1, 10pm.
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE UK: This week's guest host is Riz Ahmed, with music from Kasabian. The show's regular cast includes Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring and George Fouracres. Sky1, 10pm.
