Taskmaster named comedy of the year (again)

Winners announced in comedy.co.uk awards

Taskmaster  has been named comedy of the year by readers of comedy.co.uk.

The show was also named best TV entertainment  show – an award it has won every year since 2016 except for 2019, when Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing took the title. 

Taskmaster was also named comedy of the year in 2021

Separately, series creator Horne and his comedy bandmates also took the title of best returning TV sitcom for their mockumentary The Horne Section TV Show.

Here they are receiving all the trophies: 

Amandaland, the hit BBC spin-off from Motherland, was named best new TV sitcom.
