Now Joe Wilkinson joins Celebrity Traitors too
Comic reported to be joining Nick Mohammed on BBC reality show
Joe Wilkinson has reportedly joined the cast of Celebrity Traitors.
The comedian is the latest star to be named by The Sun as heading to Scotland to film the new series.
Earlier this week, the newspaper said Nick Mohammed was also going to be a contestant on the series. He has rescheduled the first few dates of his forthcoming Show Pony tour, apparently to film the BBC reality series.
Cats Does Countdown regular and former Taskmaster contestant Wilkinson can currently be seen in Amazon’s reality series Last One Laughing – which also featured a guest appearance from Mohammed.
Last year’s regular series of the Traitors featured aspiring stand-up Paul Gorton, a regular on Wilkinson and David Earl’s Chatbox podcast.
Other stars said to be appearing in the first celebrity version of the show include Stephen Fry, Kate Garraway, Alan Carr, Olympic diver Tom Daley, singer Paloma Faith and former rugby player Joe Marler.
Producers have not been commenting on the rumoured line-up with a spokesperson saying: ‘The Traitors is a game that includes lies and deception, thus it would be foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before the game has begun.’
Filming will take place at Ardross Castle, near Alness in the Scottish Highlands, soon, with Claudia Winkelman returning as host.
