Sara Pascoe-fronted format ends after three series

Sara Pascoe’s show Comedians Giving Lectures has been axed after three series.

The programme, which launched in 2019, featured comedians using the titles of genuine TED-type talks, but then putting their own interpretation on them.

Those who took part included Joe Thomas – who dramatically shaved part of his head for his appearance –  Jo Brand, Fern Brady, Tom Allen, Ed Gamble and Katherine Ryan. 

All had to impress the live studio audience and experts in the topics of the lectures.

A UKTV spokesperson told TV Zone: ‘We can confirm that last year's series of Comedians Giving Lectures was the final one. We'd like to thank Sara Pascoe and 12 Yard Productions for delivering a brilliant show and we look forward to finding new opportunities to work together in the future.’

The last series aired in April and May last year.
