Stephen K Amos up for a stage acting award

For his role in My Night With Reg

Stephen K Amos has been nominated for an acting award.

The comedian has been shortlisted in the What’s On Stage for his supporting role as Benny in My Night With Reg at the Turbine Theatre in South London this summer.

The show itself, which was written by Kevin Elyot and first performed in 1994,  is also up for best play revival

Meanwhile, the comedy Magic Goes Wrong racked up four nominations, for best new play and performance nods for Henry Lewis, Nancy Zamit and Jonathan Sayer. Sister production The Play That Goes Wrong is up for best West End Show.

The ribald take on Jane Austen’s classic, Pride And Prejudice* (*Sort Of) is also up for best new play.

Winners are decided by public vote - cast yours here. Results will be announced at a ceremony in the West End on February 27.
