Dave renews hit format

Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable has been renewed for a second series by Dave.

The comedian broke the news on ITV's Lorraine this  morning, saying: "I'm so pleased because we had a lot of fun making that show.

'We're going to make some more, fingers crossed at the end of June, beginning of July. So hopefully some time around  autumn that will be back on Dave.

‘It's great, great fun, naughty show, you must come on Lorraine - I want to hear your secrets.’

The show, featuring Lou Sanders as her sidekick, invited comedians and other celebrities to share their most shameful anecdotes, and has just completed its first series of eight episodes.

The opening episode in February attracted 468,000 viewers within the first seven days, making it the channel’s most-watched programme of the week.
