About a family winter holiday in Margate

Tom Basden has written a one-off BBC One sitcom starring Katherine Parkinson.

Pandemonium revolves around the Jessop family, and features an ensemble cast that also includes Alison Steadman, Ghosts’ Jim Howick and Plebs co-creator Basden himself.

The plot draws on the events of 2020 with the family having had to  abandon their holiday of a lifetime to California and instead wind up on vacation in Margate in December,

The half-hour is shot as if filmed by the family’s youngest son, and will air on the BBC’s flagship channel over the festive season.
