Official tie-in as show moves to Channel 4

Ed Gamble is to host an official Taskmaster podcast to coincide with the show’s debut on Channel 4.

The comic is the reigning champion of the show, although he will lose his crown to one of the new contestants – Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan or Richard Herring –  once the 10th series ends.

The podcast is produced by the creators of the hit show, with each instalment released after each episode has aired on Channel 4.

Each week Gamble will be joined by guests to discuss the Taskmaster’s questionable decisions., with past contestants, Greg Davies and Alex Horne among those lined up to appear.

The Taskmaster podcast will be available from 10pm on Thursday on iTunes, right after the first new episode.
