Mrs Brown is back on the big screen

...thanks to the BBC

As if Mrs Brown’s Boys: D’Movie wasn’t enough, fans of Brendan O’Carroll’s sitcom will now be able to watch the family’s TV antics at the cinema.

The two forthcoming festive episodes of the successful comedy have been added to the BBC Christmas tour, in which a pop-up cinema will tour the UK offering preview screenings of some of the broadcaster’s shows.

Family programmes Zog and The Midnight Gang has already been announced as part of the programme, which kicks off in Newcastle on December 15.

It then visits Sheffield, Bradford, Birmingham, Salford, Norwich and Lincoln before finishing in York on December 23.

The forthcoming tribute to Sir Ken Dodd, How Tickled We Were, has also been added to the schedule – but only in his Liverpool home town on December 19.

Free tickets to the screenings are available through a ballot which is open now. Click here to apply for Mrs Brown’s Boys tickets and here for Ken Dodd: How Tickled We Were.
