Strictly becomes a Halloween horror show for Seann Walsh

Another low score from judges

Seann Walsh's time on Strictly Come Dancing looks numbered after another performance was slammed by judges.

He and Katya Jones scored just 20 points for their Viennese Waltz to I Put A Spell On You by  Nina Simone in tonight's  Halloween edition of the show.

The comic played a toymaker with his professional partner a porcelain doll in a routine that appeared to be deliberately unsexy, given the pair's tabloid scandal.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood said their timing was terrible and thought they might find themselves in the dreaded dance-off again.

Shirley  Ballas said there were 'one or two good things', including some of Walsh's footwork, but agrees there were mistakes, as did Darcey Bussell, who said the dance 'became jerky and skippy'.

Even the usually positive Bruno Tolioni thought the comedian lost his way. He said the 'role-playing was beautiful' but the movements 'too stiff'.

'That was deflating, I wanted to smash it,' Walsh said after receiving the judges' verdict.

Last week they survived the dreaded dance-off after coming in the bottom two - and went into tonight's show as favourites to be booted off.

Red Dwarf's Danny John Jules achieved his second-highest score of 30 points after  performing   the American Smooth to Spirit In The Sky by Doctor and the Medics with dance partner Amy Dowden

The couple leaving the show this week will be revealed on BBC One tomorrow night.
