Radio 4 orders a second series

Radio 4’s Women Talking About Cars is to return for a second series.

Hosted by Victoria Coren Mitchell, the programmes asks celebrity guests about the cars they have owned, prompting them to share memories and take a comic look at life, love, sex, work, childhood, motherhood and adventure. 

The first guest in the new series is Sheila Hancock CBE. 

Coren Mitchell previously interviewed Dawn French, Olivia Coleman,  Sarah Millican and Germaine Greer in the first series, which aired in December last year,

The Hancock interview will be held at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, Central London, on May 24. Click here to apply for tickets.
