Fleabag wins again

...as does John Finnemore

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has grabbed another award for her mantlepiece, after Fleabag was honoured  again last night.

The acclaimed BBC Three programme was named best TV Situation Comedy at the Writers’ Guild Of Great Britain Awards.

Writing legends Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran – who created Birds Of A Feather, The New Statesman and Goodnight Sweetheart – presented her with the accolade.

John Finnemore’s Double Acts, an anthology of two-handers, won best radio comedy.

It came just a few hours after his other Radio 4 show, John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme, won the best radio sketch show award from the British Comedy Guide.
