Isy Suttie cancels tour

Remaining dates pulled because of illness

Isy Suttie has cancelled all the remaining dates of her UK tour due to illness.

She apologised for fans after pulling the remaining seven nights of her show, The Actual One, which ties in her recent memoirs of the same name.

In a statement, she said: ‘With a heavy heart, I'm so sorry to have to cancel this show but due to illness I have decided to cancel the rest of my autumn tour to allow myself to recover from an ongoing problem.

‘I haven't taken this decision lightly and am truly sorry to disappoint in any way. I hope to see you in the new year.’

The Peep Show star was due to end the tour with a hometown gig at the Buxton Arts Centre on October 1. The venue said: ‘Due to illness, Isy Suttie has been cancelled. We wish her a speedy recovery.’

Suttie also apologised to fans on Twitter and said: ‘Venues will be in touch with ticketholders.’

She was due to play the Hull Fruit Space tonight, Cardiff Glee on Sunday, Exeter Phoneix Centre on Monday; then the Glee Clubs in Birmingham on September 23, Nottingham on September 29 and Oxford on September 30.

The Actual One describes Suttie’s memories of being in her late 20s and realising all her friends had started growing up around her. Read our review, and order the book, here.
