Seinfeld to return to the UK

Two dates in 2012, plus one in Dublin

EXCLUSIVE:
Jerry Seinfeld is to return to Britain for his first ever UK shows outside London.

America’s highest-earning comic is to play Birmingham NIA on May 11 and Manchester MEN Arena on May 12 next year.

It follows his show at London’s O2 Arena this June, the first time he had played Britain in 13 years. The show was critically acclaimed (Chortle review) but came under fire for the high ticket price, which ranged from £80 to £100.

However, the 2012 dates are considerably cheaper at £47.50 and £40.

His trip across the Atlantic also includes a night at the The O2 in Dublin on May 13, priced €65.

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale at 9am on Friday, and 9am tomorrow for the Dublin show.
