Third series for Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening.

With his mum Shanthi, of course

ITV has ordered a third series of Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening.

The show features celebrity families answer quiz questions for charities,  and also futures the comedian’s mum Shanthi.

Ranganathan says: ‘I love this show so much and am delighted people are enjoying it enough that we're doing it again. I can confirm that mum will be joining once again following an email from ITV that said said something like, "You need to recognise she's the main draw."’

Commissioner Joe Mace added: ‘Between Romesh, Shanthi and the incredible guests, this series is always jam-packed with laughs. I'm so pleased to be doing more and I can't wait to see what funny revelations come to light this time around.’

Previous contestants have included are Tom Allen, Jo Brand, Joel Dommett  and Josh Widdicombe.

The new third series, made Ranganathan production company Ranga Bee, will comprise six hour-long episodes plus a Christmas special.

No air date has yet been announced.
