Nick Mohammed

Half Indo-Caribbean and half Greek-Cyprio, Mick Mohammed became involved in the Footlights while at Cambridge University, appearing in their touring show Beyond A Joke (2004) and Under The Blue, Blue Moon (2005).

He made his solo Edinburgh debut with the Forer Factor in 2006, and has returned the subsequent four years.

On TV, his biggest role so far was as yes-man Steve in the 2009 revival of Perrin, but his credits also include various roles in Horne & Corden, hit kids' show Sorry I've Got No Head and the ITV2 sitcom No Heroics.

Crime comedy Deep Cover to premiere at SXSW London

Starrign Nick Mohammed, Orlando Bloom and Bryce Dallas-Howard

Deep Cover - the Amazon crime-comedy about a group of improv performers hired to infiltrate London’s gangland – will headline the   SXSW London Screen Festival, it has been announced. 

It stars Jurassic World’s Bryce Dallas-Howard as a comedian teaching improv classes and fearing she’s missed her shot at success, with Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed as two of her students.

Sean Bean plays the cop who recruits the trio to impersonate dangerous criminals, with Paddy Considine, Sonoya Mizuno, and Ian McShane also in the cast.

The film is directed by Tom Kingsley – whose credits include Stath Lets Flats – and will premiere at the festival on Wednesday June 4, ahead of its release on Prime Video on June 12.

It is written by Derek Connolly & Colin Trevorrow  – who wrote the Jurassic Word series – and Ben Ashenden & Alexander Owen, aka The Pin double act.
