Lucy Beaumont to compete in the Great British Sewing Bee
As Iain Stirling takes on MasterChef
Lucy Beaumont is taking part in a celebrity version of The Great British Sewing Bee this Christmas.
Straight off the back of her time on Celebrity Traitors (above), the comedian will be putting her needlework skills to the test alongside Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke, Chewing Gum and Cheaters actress Susan Wokoma and Gladiator Tom Wilson, aka Hammer.
The Christmas special will also be the first episode of the show to be hosted by comic Sophie Willan, who is taking over from Sara Pascoe.
Patrick Grant and Esme Young return as judges as the celebrities are asked to put their twist on a pattern for a festive present sack, turn second-hand party wear into an outfit inspired by The Twelve Days of Christmas and create an outfit for real life models inspired by their favourite Christmas treat.
Meanwhile, Iain Stirling is taking part in a celebrity version of MasterChef over the festive season.

The comedian and voice of Love Island will be competing against reality TV star GK Barry, Ted Lasso actor Kola Bokinni and BBC disability correspondent Nikki Fox in the special episode.
They must impress the judges across two tasks to win The Golden Whisk trophy.
No broadcast date has yet been confirmed for the shows, which were revealed as part of the BBC’s festive line-up this morning.
In other programmes, comedians Tim Vine, Mel Giedroyc and Paddy McGuinness and Gavin and Stacey stars Matthew Horne and Joanna Page will be taking part in a Christmas Day edition of The Wheel with Michael McIntyre. The line-up is completed by Richard Osman, Gyles Brandreth, Josie Gibson, Big Narstie, Zara McDermott and Gladiators Nitro and Gavin.
Lou Sanders, David O’Doherty and Eddie Kadi will be taking part in a Christmas edition of The Weakest Link, hosted by Romesh Ranganathan, with Martine McCutcheon, Ade Adepitan, Ross King, Jess Wright and Blu Hydrangea completing the line-up.
And Fatiha El-Ghorri will be taking part in a New Year edition alongside Charlotte Crosby, Patsy Palmer, Keith Brymer-Jones, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Merlin Griffiths, Bash The Entertainer and Luke Hamnett.
