What happens in The Inbetweeners 3?
Spoilers revealed as on-set photos emerge
Details of the third Inbetweeners movie have been revealed as photos from the set make today's tabloids.
The reunion of James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Simon Bird and Joe Thomas will take place at a wedding, the pictures show.
Only Harrison, who plays Neil, wasn’t in a morning suit for the scenes, shot in South East London.
A wedding card bearing the letters ‘J&A’ was seen on set, suggesting it is Buckley's character Jay who is tying the knot. But the picture is confused by the presence of Martin Trenaman – who plays the father of Thomas’s character Simon.
The bride is played by Marina Bye – the 33-year-old daughter of Ruby Wax and comedy director Ed Bye, known on the live circuit as half of the Siblings double-act with sister Maddy.
Also seen on set was Emily Head, who played Simon’s teenage crush Carli D’Amato, and Ewan Mitchell, who plays Aemond Targaryen in House Of The Dragon, as a vicar.
Another scene shows Bird, in character as Will, talking to American actress Hannah Cruz, mainly known for her film work.
It seems unlikely that Emily Atack will be reprising her role of Charlotte. The actress had fallen out with Buckley, who she had branded ‘James Fuckley’.
When the long-awaited Netflix project was confirmed earlier this month, sitcom creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris – who will return to write and direct the film – said in a statement: ‘It's been super-fun hanging out with our friends again, and we're going to work hard every week to ensure there are no problemos making this new film for humans.’
