Becky Hill writes a Jack Whitehall diss track

Comic says he's 'honoured'

comedyBecky Hill has written a diss track about Jack Whitehall, after the comic roasted her at last year’s Brit Awards.

The singer’s new album features a track called Daddy’s Range Rover, in reference to Whitehall’s privilege and ‘nepo baby’ status.

She says the song is a response to the ‘classist’ joke the comic – the son of top showbiz agent Michael Whitehall – made at the Brits when he called her a ‘Wetherspoons Whitney’.

Introducing the track at a gig at London’s 100 Club this week, Worcestershire-born Hill reportedly said: ‘I’ve had enough of all this shit so I wrote about it.

‘This song, I’m affectionately calling Wetherspoons Whitney, but you lot will know it as Daddy’s Range Rover. This one’s for you, Jack.’

Lyrics include: ‘Just ’cause your daddy worked in showbiz, got you a job with his old boss. I bet you didn’t even notice. The opportunities you got.’

'You judge me on my accent before I even start, but you know nothing about me. What can I do? I’ll never be like you.’

Speaking to The Sun, she added: ‘I’ve definitely let loose in terms of putting myself into this record.

"I’ve been specific with my frustrations, commented on classism following the comment at the Brit Awards in 2025 and being called Wetherspoons Whitney, spoke about getting married, my home town and my job.’

Whitehall said he was ‘absolutely honoured’ to be the subject of the song.

Speaking at the premiere of his new film  – an adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s Night And Day – the comic added: ‘I’m actually quite surprised it’s taken this long for someone to write a diss track about me.

‘What’s Olly Murs been doing all these years? I’ve come for him so many times. Niall Horan never mentions me? It’s all I want. I’m a thirsty guy, I just want to be noticed.

‘It’s an absolute honour and a privilege that finally after I’ve done (the Brits) five, six times, chucked every artist under the bus and finally one of them has noticed me and has written something. It’s all we want, we just want to be heard.’

Hill’s new album, Rebecca, is out on September 25.
