Chris McCausland to host The Easiest Quiz Show In The World
Richard Bacon's latest format being tested for TV
Chris McCausland is piloting a TV show billed as The Easiest Quiz Show In The World.
Sample questions are said to include: ‘What day was it three days ago?’, ‘Humans drink water, but what do cows drink?’, ‘Name a red drink?’ and ‘What continent are you standing on?’
However, producers say that while the questions are easy ‘the jeopardy is sky-high, as every time anyone gets anything wrong... everyone loses everything’.
The show is being made by Richard Bacon’s company Yes Yes Media. The former Blue Peter presenter previously devised Channel 4's I Literally Just Told You, as hosted by Jimmy Carr, and U&Dave's Silence Is Golden.
A not-for-broadcast pilot is being recored in London on Monday July 28 and free tickets are available from Standing Room Only.
The Easiest Quiz Show In The World is the latest project for Strictly Come Dancing winner McCausland. Also coming soon is Seeing Into The Future, a BBC Two documentary in which he heads to Silicon Valley to explore how technology could transform the lives of blind people like him.
And his autobiography Keep Laughing! is due out in October.
