With Brookside's Jennifer Ellison

ITV has today released the trailer for the new series of its award-winning comedy G’wed.

The third series, which drops on ITV2 and ITVX next month, marks the TV return of Brookside's Jennifer Ellison, who enters the scene as the estranged mother of schoolgirl Aimee  (Amber Harrison).
 
Also returning are Reece (Dylan Thomas-Smith), Christopher (Jake Kenny-Byrne), Connor (Max Ainsworth), Ted (Dominic Murphy), Mo (Zak Douglas), Aimee (Amber Harrison), Mia-Louise (Gemma Barraclough) and The Brimble (Evie Ward-Drummond).

The broadcaster says the series will be 'tackling powerful and thought-provoking themes from the refugee crisis to women in sport and one of the series’ returning characters managing life with OCD'. 
 
Since its 2014 launch G’wed has racked up more than 19 million streams, reaching 6.7 million viewers.
