Big Bang Theory’s sci-fi spin-off

Here’s the trailer for the Big Bang Theory’s  sci-fi spin-off Stuart Fails To Save the Universe.

The premise is that comic book store owner Stuart Bloom is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. 

Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke. 

Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters from The Big Bang Theory.

 The ten-episode series debuts Friday July 24  nd will be available to stream on HBO Max in the UK & Ireland. New episodes will debut subsequent Fridays.

The series stars Kevin Sussman as Stuart, Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as  Bert, and John Ross Bowie as Barry.

The series, from Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, is created, written, and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady.
