Alice and Steve trailer

Disney+s new 'wrong-com' with Nicola Walker and Jemaine Clement

Disney+ has released the official trailer for its British 'wrong-com' Alice and Steve.

The six-part Hulu Original series stars Nicola Walker as Alice, who  is devastated when her best friend Steve – played by  Jemaine Clement – starts dating her 26-year-old daughter Izzy (Yali Topol Margalith).

Alice tries everything she can to end the relationship and what begins as a perfect friendship, devolves into an all-out feud. The streamer calls the show an 'hilarious, messy, and complicated exploration of friendship, family, and love'.

Also starring Joel Fry. Alice and Steve was created by Sophie Goodhart, whose credits include Sex Education, and is produced by Baby Reindeer maker Clerkenwell Films.

All episodes will be available to stream on Monday June 8 on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland and Hulu in the US.
