SNL's cold open

Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) and Pete Hegseth (Colin Jost) addressed the rising cost of petrol in the opening sketch of yesterday's Saturday Night Live. 

The President introduced himself by saying: 'You might remember me from such campaign promises as lower gas prices and no more wars. We love to make promises because a promise is just a lie that hasn’t happened yet.'

He also made a joke referencing the week's host, Harry Styles, saying: 'The stock market is going in One Direction – down.'
