Michael Spicer vs the Fifa president

It will go down as one of the weirder press conferences of the year, when Fifa president Giovanni Infantino addressed the maelstrom of protest surrounding the Qatar World Cup on Saturday.

He claimed he felt 'gay' and 'disabled' because he was 'discriminated against' as a child for being ginger.  He also said he felt 'like a migrant worker' – thousands of whom are reported to have died building the stadiums .

While it’s almost beyond parody, his bizarre intervention is of course ripe for The Room Next Door treatment… and Michael Spicer has obliged:
