Russell Howard teases Greta Thunberg for snorting during their interview on his Sky Max show tonight.

The comic says the teenage environmental campaigner must have been having fun to let such a reflex reaction slip oit..

Greta reveals her coping mechanisms - she eats beans one at a time to comfort herself and makes frog hats

During their chat, she revealed that she makes frog hats to relax – as in headgear in the shape of reptiles, not hats FOR frogs.

And she explains how she staved off boredom when making a double crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in 2019 to attend climate conferences in New York.

She told the comedian: ‘ I didn't have much to do.  So, I sat there and ate one bean at a time and then I, that became some kind of comfort food.  So, when I'm stressed, I eat beans one a time.’

  And of the backlash she gets for her work online, Thunberg said: ‘I mean it's a bit weird when among the most powerful people in the world and also  people generally like heterosexuals, cis, white privileged middle-aged men  feel so threatened by  children, teenagers just stating facts. That they feel like they must send some kind of letter or just kind of vent online.  It, it's very weird.'
