New Netflix comedy set in the last store in the video rental chain

Netflix has released the trailer for its new comedy series, Blockbuster, set in the now defunct video store of the same name.

The ten-episode sitcom features Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Melissa Fumero and Randall Park from Fresh Off the Boat, who plays the store's manager 'an analog dreamer in a 5G word'.

When he discovers he’s managing the last Blockbuster in America he battles to keep the store open and his friends in work.

The cast also includes J.B. Smoove from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Blockbuster launches on Thursday, November 3.
