When an aspiring comedian tries to meet his idol

Comedy production house Baby Cow has today released the online short film fFank, starring Freddie Meredith as a young aspiring comic who travels to a talent agency to have a meeting with one of their top clients, his favourite comedian,

However, all is not quite as it seems when the agent struggles to find any record of the meeting

Meredith also wrote and directed the short, which co-stars Juliet Cowan, Lois Chimimba and Alan Williams.

Rupert Majendie, head of development at Baby Cow and executive producer on Frank, said: ‘Freddie is a super exciting talent that we are very lucky to be working with. He’s a complete original and makes me howl with laughter.'

The short film is the first instalment of a digital development initiative the company is expected to launch later this year with BBC Studios.
