However, managers didn’t quite know what to make of Milo McCabe’s debonair alter-ego doling out compliments and good wishes as they arrived the front door of their branch.

The comic turned up uninvited to try to put a smile on those picking up DIY supplies. But the chain might want to think about what corporate message they sent out when they moved him on…
