...but Simon Cowell was not impressed

Comedy circuit veterans Brian and Krysstal appeared on Britain's Got Talent tonight – but did not win favour with  Simon Cowell.

The judge sat stony-faced throughout their musical act before buzzing them off, explaining simply: ‘I didn't like them.’

However, the routine, which included a jaunty song about a cannibal, delighted David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden who gave the duo a standing ovation.
