Les Dennis in Sideshow

Trailer for new comedy thriller

Here's the first look at Les Dennis as a washed-up psychic in the new comedy movie  Sideshow.

In the film, which is out next month, he plays The All-Seeing Stupendo, a supposed master of the dark mystic arts, touring small regional theatre.

The darkly funny story follows two criminals – played by  April Pearson and Nathan Clarke – who get more than they bargained for when they break into his home.

Anthony Head also has a role as Gerald.

Writer and director Adam Oldroyd said: 'Sideshow is my modern take on the black humour of the old Ealing comedies. Les was the perfect pick to play ageing psychic Stuart Pendrick, his years of experience as one of the nation’s best-loved entertainers was the ideal material to draw from.'

Sideshow will be coming to cinemas across the UK from  November 19.
