Stand-up special coming to HBO Max this month

HBO has released the trailer for Ahih Shah’s stand-up special Dots.

The show will be released on its US streaming service HBO Max on September 23.

The double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee recorded the special at the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End in June, having been delayed by more than a year because of Covid.

Producers Avalon say of the show, which debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019: ‘Featuring Shah’s signature blend of philosophical inquiry, personal examination, and sweet gags, Dots is his critically acclaimed stand-up show about the necessity, utility, and absence of certainty.’
