Trailer for series 2 of Feel Good

Mae Martin's comedy returns to Netflix

Netflix has released the trailer for the second series of Mae Martin’s sitcom Feel Good.

The teaser shows her character being taken to rehab by her parents,  played by  Lisa Kudrow and Adrian Lukis, and trying to reconnect with George, her lover played by Charlotte Ritchie.

The trailer also shows that comics Jack Barry, Phil Bergers return, as well as a new role for Sunil Patel. Also joining the cast are Anthony Head, Jordan Stephens, John Ross Bowie and Eleanor Matsuura.

It also shows her addressing her personal distress in a stand-up set, and explaining that she no longer identifies as a woman but as an ‘Adam Driver or Ryan Gosling’ instead.

The show returns to Netflix on June 4, after the original broadcaster Channel 4 dropped out of the second series.

Martin, who co-wrote the show with Joe Hampson, has previously said this would be the final series, too, saying: ‘I’m beyond excited to be able to return to the world of Feel Good, and to see Mae and George’s love story through to the dramatic conclusion we had always planned.’
