Spot the clues...

The BBC has released the first trailer for series six of Inside No 9.

No return date is given on the teaser, which promises only that Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith's anthology of darkly comic tales is returningn ‘soon’.

It was previously revealed that the guest stars in series 6 will include Fleabag star Sian Clifford; Line Of Duty's Adrian Dunbar, and Sir Derek Jacobi.

Nick Mohammed  Paterson Joseph, Lindsay Duncan, Kevin Bishop, Bhavna Limbachia, Sarah Parish and Gemma Whelan  are also taking part.

Shearsmith and Pemberton said when the cast list was released: 'We started filming in March last year but had to hit pause due to the pandemic.

'After a nine-month gestation it's a relief to finally deliver our 6th series to the world. As proud parents we couldn't possibly choose a favourite, but like any youngest sibling this series is cheeky, funny - and can get away with murder...'

A seventh series has already been commissioned.
