Oh, Edinburgh

By Sean Cullen and some of the 2001 Fringe comedians

Today is the day the first Fringe shows should have kicked off their month-long run.

As a reminder of what we’re missing, here’s some footage from the last night of the 2001 festival, in which former Juice Pig Sean Cullen sings a heartfelt tribute to the city of dreams, many of them broken.

Recorded at the notorious Late N Live at  the old Gilded Balloon, Cullen is joined on stage by a raft of fresh-faced comedians, including Dara O’Briain, Jason Byrne, Stephen K Amos, Shappi Khorsandi and Ross Noble.

Happy days…
