Last Leg host marks Brexit

Here's the exact moment the UK left the EU – and Adam Hills's beard was shaved off.

The comic had vowed not to shave until Brexit was done, and in a special edition of the Last Leg on Friday the face fuzz finally came off at precisely 11pm.

Before the big moment, Hills said: 'Last night I gave it one last shampoo and put beard oil in it and I got wistful... I was going to see this joke through to the end.'

The beard has now been put on eBay to raise money for Australian bush fire relief, with bidding standing at more than £1,000.

Aisling Bea, Guz Khan, Geoff Norcott and Armando Iannucci were also on hand to provide the bongs which Big Ben couldn't. And Tom Allen tried to report live from Westminster...
