...which makes Steve Coogan a granddad

Jamie Demetriou has become a father for the first time – making Steve Coogan a grandfather.

The Stath Lets Flats comic’s partner is Clare Cole, a chef and the only daughter of the Alan Partridge star.

And in interviews to promote the new mockumentary The Moment – in which he plays the manager of pop star Charli XCX – 38-year-old Demetriou revealed she had given birth to their first daughter. ‘She’s good and gorgeous,’ he said.

Clare, 29, is 60-year old Coogan’s child with his ex-girlfriend Anna Cole, a solicitor.
