Comic admits to using fat jabs

comedyMichael McIntyre has admitted to using fat jabs after his doctor told him he was obese.

The comic told an audience at his stand-up show that their weight had fallen off him with three weeks of injections, first  Ozempic band then  Mounjaro

His wife Kitty ordered him to start on the medication after his GP told him for off weighing 15st 10lbs.

In comments reported by The Sun, McIntyre said: ‘Have you noticed how tiny I am? I have lost weight.

‘Don’t applaud it because there is a little bit of cheating that has gone on.’

On his trip to the GP, he told fans: ‘The doctor told me I weighed 100kg. He told me I was obese. How rude! He said, "It’s a medical term".’

In 2017, McIntyre lost 14lbs during a six-day stay at Austria's £4,000-a-week Mayr Clinic – but hated the experience.

He went on the trip with fellow comic Paul Tonkinson, who writes with him, and said: ‘I was so emotional, depressed and confused and Paul was skeletal.’

The new series of McIntyre’s The Wheel has just started on BBC One, attracting 3.9million viewers to its Saturday night debut

Here he is talking about his weight issues and the Austrian trip in a previous stand-up routine:
