Darren Harriott makes it to week 5 of Dancing On Ice
...with a little help from Bucks Fizz
Darren Harriott has made it to week five of Dancing On Ice – after Eurovision stars Bucks Fizz joined him for his performance last night.
The band re-formed to accompany the comedian and his partner Tippy Packard as they danced to Making Your Mind Up.
And in honour of the group’s memorable 1981 Eurovision performance, the comedian ripped off his trousers to reveal a pair of golden hotpants.
After fizzing around the rink the judges made their mind up giving @DarrenHarriott and @TippyPackard a score of 26.5 #DancingOnIce pic.twitter.com/CEV8qpywaL

The pair earned 26.5 points for their swing routine, putting them sixth out of the remaining nine contestants.
Judge Ashley Banjo told Harriott: ‘I think you’re a great performer – I think you have great energy. I think I would like you to be more refined. I felt this week you really brought the full package.’
And Jayne Torvill told him: ‘I think you’re capable of more.’
Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu left the competition last night after losing a dance-off with former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer.
Harriott previously revealed he had to have skates specially made to fit his size 13 feet, telling Metro: ‘I’ve got the biggest feet they’ve ever had on the show.’
The show continues on Sundays on ITV.
