Rest in pizza...

Harry Hill admits: I scoffed a dead woman's meal

comedyHarry Hill says he once ate a dead woman’s pizza during his days as a doctor.

The stand-up recalled that the patient ordered the delivery – but died before it came. And rather than let it go to waste, he and his colleagues decided it shouldn’t go to waste.

‘This lady, I knew she was unwell, but we certainly weren't expecting her to die, it was something quite minor,’ he reveals on tonight's episode of Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled.  ‘I was so busy in casualty but I didn't have time to see her.

‘The end of the day comes, so we go to the ward and she was found dead in the doctor’s office with a telephone in her hand. And my Housman said, "Maybe she was trying to call you?" And I said, "Oh thanks!"

‘But then the mystery was solved when about half an hour later a pizza turned up.

‘I know what you're thinking, and yes we did - it would've been a shame to waste it.'

Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled is on Dave at 10pm tonight. The other guests are HelenBauerRachel Fairburn and Phil Wang.
