Irish comedian Fred Cooke and Julie Jay have become parents together.
Cooke – who shot to mainstream fame in Ireland by appearing on Dancing With The Stars – revealed the news on Instagram, saying both mother and child are 'doing fantastic'.
The boy, who they have named Ted, was born at 3.15am on Saturday.
Cooke also extended a 'massive thanks to the incredible frontline staff of Tralee General Hospital'.
Before Dancing With The Stars last year, Cooke was a staple of the Irish stand-up circuit and appeared on the TV show Republic of Telly.
Jay hosts the Up To 90 podcast and has supported the likes of Tommy Tiernan, Neil Delamere and Flo and Joan on tour
