Joe Lycett's Got Your... Leg?
Fan gets comic's face tattooed onto her
A Joe Lycett fan has had the comedian's face tattooed on to her leg.
The design bears the phrase 'doth butter no parsnips', a reference to the title of the comic's book based on an archaic saying about fine words.
Tattoo artist Dean Lofty, from Cardiff, inked the design on to his wife, who does not reveal her name on social media.
She posted this week: 'Yes, I did just talk to the tattoo on my leg. "Come on joe let’s go to the kitchen," I regret nothing'
Lycett replied simply: 'Oh wow'
However, some of his followers were less kind, likening the image to Frankie Howard, Nicolas Cage or Marc Almond.
To which the woman replied: ' It’s a traditional style not realism. I keep my realism in frames.'
@joelycett As promised! My brand new tattoo of you 😁 That’s the way! By Dean Lofty (insta) @sewingbee @Kathbum @noelfielding11 #joelycettsgotyourback #greatbritishsewingbee #favouritecomedian #butteredparsnips #traditional #radiantcolorsink pic.twitter.com/bg12L2x53a
