I fear the beer

Joe Lycett develops an anxiety nausea

comedyHe may have defended Swansea's Boss Brewing against legal threats from Hugo Boss, but Joe Lycett has admitted that the very thought of beer makes him throw up.

The comic says he loves drinking but has been getting anxiety attacks at the mere thought of a pint, which have become so bad that he's been seeking therapy.

'I've been suffering with anxiety nausea,' he told the Daily Star. 'Which mens that if I think about having a beer it makes me feel sick and it makes me not want to have a beer - and I love beer.

'I've got this brilliant new therapist who basically said, "your homework this week is to have beer, and if you're sick, you're sick so what?"'

He said his newfound aversion was a mystery because: 'I'm never sick from alcohol, I'm just not a sick person.'
